Bojnice is a small city in middle Slovakia attracting tourist thanks to romantic castle. City of Bojnice also offer visitors the oldest and largest ZOO in Slovakia. Since 1955 the Bojnice ZOO houses various domestic and exotic animals. Today there is more than 400 species on area of 41 hectares.

ZOO Bojnice lies next to Bojnice castle and is open daily, during summer with prolonged opening hours 8 am – 7 pm. The tickets are 4€ for adults and 2€ for children (4-15).
