If you saw the ski springboards, ducks and new hotels around the Štrbské pleso it is time to enjoy a small hike. One of the best hikes you can do also with kids is a road to Popradské pleso.
Pathway from Štrbské pleso is beginning quite steep but you will have around you lot of nice views for a short selfie pause or a little forest berry fruit snack.
The higher we got, the more clothes we took off because the sun started to heat a lot.
Red pathway offers nice views on Mengusovská dolina and sometimes you will see mushrooms or lovely stone art by other tourists.
You might get some energy and refreshment in the restaurants and chalets near the lake.
If you are lucky with the weather the mountain panorama is worth the excercise 😉
